If You Feel Thankful, Write It Down
This is exactly what we intend to do.
As the country recovers from a deadly pandemic, we at Acumen, write about gratitude. There are numerous research studies that demonstrate the positive health benefits of focusing on gratitude and how just the simple act of writing down what we are thankful for can stimulate well-being, lower stress and improve interpersonal relationships. All things that lead to greater happiness. So let’s do a different kind of medical writing, one that’s good for our health.
On this note, we thank all the scientists who we work with to develop drugs that heal patients from diseases ranging from cancer to sickle cell disease. We also are grateful for the patients who enroll in clinical trials and donate their bodies in the name of science and healing. There are so many others working to move drugs from the lab to the clinic: we are thankful for the project managers, administrators, medical writers, and regulatory experts. Lastly, we thank our clients who continue to entrust and empower us to contribute to this essential process.
